*Excerpts from Bulla’s nominations:*

He truly has an open door policy and it seems that no matter how busy he is he will always take the time to talk with me about questions or concerns that I may have. If he is in his office, he will take the time, even if it is not office hours or if I do not have an appointment. When he is not in his office I am always able to get a quick and helpful response by e-mail. I really think this is going the extra mile. I hope that you will give strong consideration to Dr. Bulla for this award because I believe he has truly has earned it by putting his heart and soul into his work every day.
