Lauren Monahan reflects enthusiasm, drive, and a passion for her students’ success that allows her advisees to dream of their potential. Without Lauren’s help, I would not be able to have had the determination to complete my goals or to realize my strengths. I believe Lauren Monahan is an ideal candidate for the Harry Heath/Lou Thompson award and goes above and beyond what an advisor should do.

All of Lauren’s students know about her open-door policy. We all have her cell phone number, and know that she responds to emails very quickly. Besides the offices hours every week, we all know how easy it is to set up an appointment with her during the week. It is easy to see that she puts she students first when looking at how readily available she makes herself.

Lauren always has a smile on her face. She is so excited to see every student of hers. Her door is always open and her office is full of stories of her advertising experience that she loves to share. Lauren emphasizes making appointments with her when we have a question. Her office is full of industry articles, reports and books that she loves to share with her students and advisees.
