Robert Wilde passed away in the spring of 2017. A proud WW II veteran, a 1949 ISU grad with a major in civil engineering and journalism, Bob was editor of the Iowa Engineer magazine among other activities at ISU. He found his niche at American Concrete Institute where, among his business responsibilities, he edited several technical publications and later in retirement continued a longtime column “Concrete Comments.” Survived by his daughters Patricia Orlowitz and Catherine Wilde Collison, also an ISU graduate.
