Teri May (Cleasby) Ochiltree

Teri May (Cleasby) Ochiltree died suddenly of cardiac arrest at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames on April 8, 2017. Teri was born June 5, 1954, in Burlington. She became the adopted daughter of Donna and John Cleasby on Feb. 12, 1957. She grew up in Ames and graduated from Ames High School in 1972. She served in the U.S. Army from 1974-77 and was stationed in Belgium at NATO SHAPE headquarters for two years. She returned to Ames and worked while attending Iowa State University part-time.

She graduated in 1987 with majors in English and journalism. She received specialized computer training in one of her jobs and become very skilled in all aspects of computer use and repair. She usually had a dog or cat that she cared for with great affection and volunteered at Ames Animal Shelter. Teri is survived by her parents, siblings, several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
