Bob (1963, 1968) and Diane (1966) Greenlee helped elevate Iowa State University as a premier place to study journalism and mass communication. In 1998, a generous gift from Bob and Diane transformed one of the university’s oldest programs into the university’s first named school. The Greenlees established the school’s Advisory Council, a group dedicated to supporting the school and making it the premiere program for educational, professional and scholarly contributions to communications and society. Outside of their dedication to journalism education, Bob and Diane are entrepreneurs who have owned radio stations and helped launch a dozen new companies.
