Kim Hernandez Kuch

Bio

Kim is a veteran marketing communications and operations management leader having spent her career speaking and working in the mechanical engineering, SaaS & Cloud software, automotive motorsports and healthcare industries.

She is currently a Sr. Strategic Communications Advisor at LinkedIn and partner for SWOT HEALTH, a healthcare think-tank focused on strategic advising for health organizations specializing in chronic diseases. She previously was Chief Marketing Officer and advisor for Me Tyme Network (MTN) and Sr. Marketing Advisor for Limelight Mobile. She recently concluded a unification study for Stanford University, School of Medicine & Stanford Health Care.

Prior to MTN, Kim led Satellite Healthcare’s marketing, branding and public relations efforts as the Director of Brand and Marketing Communications. In this capacity, she ran nationwide marketing, brand, executive communications, physician relations and philanthropic partnerships. Kim also supervised all outside agencies handling crisis communications, merchandising and media purchasing.

Prior to joining Satellite Healthcare, Kim taught advertising and communication at CSU-Fullerton while also working for Apani Networks, as Director of Marketing, leading global enterprise security marketing with teams both in the EU and U.S. She previously was the Corporate Communications Supervisor for Yokohama Tire, Inc., where she oversaw public relations, formulated multi-million dollar motorsports contracts, advisor for government initiatives, as well as corporate and product-line messaging for B2B and B2C product launches. Kim started her career as Marketing Manager for ETREMA Products, Inc. (ISU Research Park).

Throughout her career, Kim has worked in a variety of marketing and corporate leadership positions for Fortune 500, private, public and not-for-profit organizations, acquiring more than 20 years of extensive experience in brand development and messaging, crisis management, c-level communications, organizational refresh, event management and digital marketing. Her expertise includes executive advising, internal messaging, creating and implementing multi-million dollar corporate and media sponsorships, product and trademark license agreements, media and government relations, product placement, as well as long and short-term market and product strategy.

Kim graduated from Iowa State University (’96) with a master’s degree in journalism and mass communications, and received her bachelor’s degree in communications, with an emphasis in organizational development, from California State University – San Bernardino.

Kim and her husband Mike reside in the San Francisco Bay area.
