In his own words: I started my career as a copy editor and designer at The Des Moines Register and was soon able to join the founding team of Juice magazine, a publication geared toward 25-to-34-year-olds, and take on a management role as a digital editor. My interest in digital and social marketing, as well as the business side of the organization, led me to a corporate role with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota as a digital and social strategist. Years ago I seized the opportunity to join Spong PR to lead the agency’s social engagement team. Now, as a partner at the firm, I’m part of the executive leadership team, including fellow Cyclone Doug Spong, our president and founder.
