In his own words: I’m the editor of the Des Moines Business Record, a locally-owned business media organization that publishes a weekly magazine as well as twice daily e-newsletters featuring local business news. After a one-year stint as a reporter for the Business Record, I moved to Florida to be an assistant editor for ESPN managing the website and social media efforts for College GameDay. I returned in May 2011 to take on the role as editor for the Business Record. I’m originally from the Chicago suburbs, married to Kaci Conetzkey, live in downtown Des Moines and currently serve on the Iowa State Daily publication board.
