In her own words: After interning for [Indianapolis Monthly](http://www.indianapolismonthly.com/) and [Chicago magazine](http://www.chicagomag.com/), I spent the first few months after graduation applying for all of the jobs and living in my childhood bedroom. I leaped at the chance to work for [Meredith Corporation](http://www.meredith.com/) in the fall of 2009, first as a copy editor and now as an associate food editor for the Better Homes and Gardens Special Interest Media group. I like traveling, hosting parties and milkshakes.
