Teresa Krug is an award-winning television and audio producer, reporter/writer and international affairs analyst who has worked with the world's biggest news outlets: CBS, Associated Press, the Guardian, Al Jazeera English, Al Jazeera America, Voice of America and RTE, Ireland's national television and radio broadcaster. Through her journalism, she has tackled stories about the effects of economic injustice and war in the Middle East and East Africa – with a particular focus on climate change, migration and social entrepreneurship. Her articles about Samia Yusuf Omar, the Olympian runner who fled Somalia for Europe, are being turned into a feature film to be released in 2020. Teresa has two bachelor’s degrees from Iowa State University, in journalism and sociology. Her master’s degree is from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
