A skilled marketer and leader with more than 25 years of communications management experience in both the nonprofit and for-profit sectors in Des Moines, Angela Ossian is currently the Program Coordinator for the Center for Agricultural Law & Taxation at Iowa State University. Most recently, she served as Executive Director for Metro Arts Alliance of Greater Des Moines. Prior to this role, she worked for 12 years as Director of Marketing for the Iowa State Center in Ames. Her additional leadership roles include marketing communications positions with Principal Financial Group and Des Moines Register. Angela started her career as a copywriter for Younkers in-house advertising department. She graduated from Iowa State in 1987 with a major in journalism and a minor in marketing. Angela was on the university’s yearbook (the BOMB) staff for three years and served as editor her senior year, which was awarded an “All-American” rating from the Collegiate Press Association.
She met her husband Daniel who is a broadcast journalism major while attending Iowa State. They are proud parents of two children – a daughter who graduated from the Ivy College of Business at ISU and a son who is currently a freshman at Iowa State.
